Jamie Foxx Talks About 'The Amazing Spiderman 2' Rumor Regarding The Villain Electro

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Jamie Foxx was in talks to play Electro in the Amazing Spiderman upcoming sequel. Marc Webb then semi-confirmed those rumors while promoting the 'Amazing Spiderman' Blu-Ray and DVD. "I think Jamie Foxx is electrifying!" Webb laughed when asked if the actor would, indeed, appear in the sequel. "I think Jamie Foxx is one of the best actors around today. He's such a great character actor and he's a really brilliant guy. I would love to work with him and you'll be hearing more on that shortly, I'm sure." 

Now Jamie Foxx himself has addressed those rumors, there's at least a possibility.

“Fingers crossed it all works out. I have a little daughter, four years old, and what’s crazy is like, this past year she had a birthday where Spider-Man was the theme... I haven’t sprung it on her yet, but she will go crazy!"
