'Girls' Season 3 Moving Ahead?

HBO 'Girls' has become a huge success, and with the recent Golden Globes wins, great reviews, and good ratings, it's not a surprise to hear that the show it's close to being officially renewed for a third season.
While we still haven't heard from HBO, Lena Dunham herself has confirmed a March production date for 'Girls' season 3. She confirmed the news in Alec Baldwin's "Here's the Thing' podcast:
"Lena Dunham: Starting season 3. Well, we’re starting season 3 and —
Alec Baldwin: When?
Lena Dunham: We’re starting at the end of March. I’m so excited."
Expect the official announcement from HBO soo.
"Girls" is exec produced by Dunham, Judd Apatow, Jenni Konner, Ilene S. Landress and Bruce Eric Kaplan.
